History

• Established in 2010, The Neurofoundation group was the first neuro-center in the east of Cairo providing all the neuro related medical services under one umbrella of best qualified physicians and surgeons.

• Under the discipline of MDA approach (multidisciplinary approach) we have treated 9664 patients till 1st of January /2021 this includes 3459 patients treated for free and 201 operations that were done for free.

 

Future project

• We are seeking to establish a hospital in new Cairo aiming to provide different medical specialties with focus on neuro related specialties for the management of brain, spine, and pain disorders.

• We are seeking to establish a foundation that can provide a free medical service for patients with financial disabilities.

• We are aiming to establish research center that can participate in publishing scientific research in international journals and comities.

 

Medical departments and services:

Multidisciplinary outpatient clinics:

• The outpatient clinics will offer an outpatient medical services that will include all medical specialties according to the most recent guidelines of management.

• Protocols of medical prescriptions and follow up schedule will be standardized for all patients based on the most recent guidelines, and will be reviewed by the clinical board and updated on regular basis.

• Regarding patients with financial disabilities, the outpatient clinic service will be offered for free.

Pharmaceutical department:

• The pharmaceutical department or simply the “pharmacy” will offer a reliable service for the patients who likes to purchase the prescriptions from the foundation.

• The pharmacy will also offer free medications for patients with financial disabilities according to the clinic prescriptions.

Physiotherapy and rehabilitation department:

• The physiotherapy and rehabilitation department will offer a physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions based on the most recent guidelines.

The brain and spine surgery department

• With a fully equipped operation theater, a preparation and recovery rooms, we are looking forward to have the best surgical outcomes based on the highest international standards of safety for brain and spine surgeries.

• Surgeries and other related interventions will be provided for free for patients with financial disabilities based on mutual funds received by the hospital.

Pain management department

• The department will offer the service of performing the minimally invasive surgical procedures and pain management procedures according to the most recent guidelines of management.

 Other Medical departments

• Other medical departments will include radiodiagnostics, pediatrics, internal medicine, and general surgery departments as well as other departments to be added based on the hospital needs.

 Non medical departments

• Non medical departments will include IT department, telemedicine department, marketing departments and finances departments as well as other departments based on hospital needs.
